BYU-Hawaii produces a very rare breed of global leaders. President McKay referred to them as genuine gold. They are highly trained academically in the classroom, accompanied by some very unique educational experiences outside of the classroom. As these students graduate and seek graduate school and employment, it is essential that students have credible documentation of crucial co-curricular activities. Therefore, the Co-Curricular Achievement Transcript (CAT) Program is a necessary aid for students to provide prospective employers and graduate schools with a complete picture of what they have learned while at BYU-Hawaii.
Co-Curricular Achievement Transcript (CAT) is very common among institutions of higher education throughout the nation. A CAT is an official record of the co-curricular activities and accomplishments of the undergraduate students. It is used to complement a student's resume and academic transcript for applications to graduate school and potential employers. The Student Life office has direct oversight of this program.
